NewscomWhile Gwen Stefani is currently making waves as one of the new judges on NBC’s The Voice, recruiting a crew of talented performers for her team (and even expressing how her face hurts from smiling so much at the end of each show), she continues to garner massive style accolades on and off the competition show. Case in point: the beauty icon stepped out last Monday in L.A. wearing a pair of killer stiletto peep-toe booties from her eponymous line, L.A.M.B. “The ‘Walcot’ is one of my favorite pairs of L.A.M.B. shoes! I love the straps with the metal hardware – they have a tribal, but still very modern look,” Stefani tells Pret-a-Reporter of the multi-strap shoes featuring a metallic T-bar and zipped back. “The best thing is they are super sexy but still really comfortable. I have no problem running around all day in these shoes!” And soon, fans can also slip into these sexy steppers as they’ll be coming soon to Stefani’s L.A.M.B. website.
Jessica Chastain has been making the rounds these past weeks, promoting her latest film, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them, in Spain, London and everywhere in between. While attending the movie’s photo call at the San Sebastian Film Festival last Tuesday, she donned a DSquared fuschia, red and pink textured spaghetti strap dress paired with Christian Louboutin “Pensamoi” magenta satin peep-toe stilettos with ankle straps. Dare we say, it’s her most fetching look we’ve seen yet. With the sparkly pink and orange floral details around the ankles, power stylist Elizabeth Stewart noted, “We thought these Christian Louboutin sandals in hot fuschia were fun and added a light touch to the dress.” Indeed.
Prince Harry attended the Well Child awards ceremony last Monday, embracing four-year old Carson Hartley, in a sweet hug and mentioning in his speech how the children are examples of strength to everyone. When he knelt down, his quintessentially British John Lobb’s were more visible than usual, showcasing the customized “H” in each of his soles, which promptly set the interweb afire citing an alleged $2500 price tag. (We’re guessing his custom-made shoes might be gifted seeing as John Lobb has been providing for royalty for hundreds of years.) Though the idea of a shoe monogram may be a bit unique for some, it’s likely this trend will start popping up more in menswear, thanks to your Royal Highness.
The budding fashionista stepped out at the Blumarine show in Milan in an adorable head-to-toe floral peplum and pant ensemble. She completed her look with a pair of Stuart Weitzman’s iconic “Nudist” sandals in a customized dyed-to-match bright pink satin (with a silver pedicure). “Dyed-to-match is coming back with the bespoke craze right now,” says Weitzman, weighing in on the color-customization phenomenon. “More and more clients like to customize their footwear, especially with unique colors. It’s also sometimes quite difficult to find that color to match exactly to the outfit, so dyed-to-match offers the perfect footwear solution.” We’ll take ours in any color because, hello, Nudist.

Arriving for the New York premiere of The Equalizer, Haley Bennett wore head-to-toe Louis Vuitton on the carpet. Bennett, who is establishing herself as quite the trendsetter, wasn’t afraid to work the carpet in this adventurous yet extremely classic cocktail look in mixed materials. To complete her look, she paired her outfit with the LV chunky-heeled, pointy-toe four-inch heels in “rose clair” ponyhair also featured reflective metallic buttons on the side of the double ankle straps for a very bold statement shoe.
