Though it was originally slated to release on Tuesday, July 3, 50 Cent fans are going to have to wait a little longer for his next LP, Street King Immortal.
Amid difficulties with his longtime label, Interscope Records, the rapper announced early Tuesday morning via Twitter that his next official release will come in November.
“My official Interscope album is called STREET KING IMMORTAL due out in nov,” he wrote. But to appease his followers, 50 also announced that he will release another album, titled 5 (Murder By Numbers), free of charge on Friday, July 6 — his 37th birthday. The “appetizer” had been widely believed to be his fifth official album.

According to MTV, 50 claimed he was receiving little marketing or support from Interscope. He recently said Street King Immortal will be the last album with the label.
“I said I was gonna put a record out that was completely up to album standard, and I’m gonna do that,” he told Philadelphia’s Hot 107.9 in June. “It’s been three years.” His last album, Before I Self Destruct, was released 2009.
