Adam Brody, best known for his lead role on Fox’s teen soap The OC, will topline Some Girls, an independently financed adaptation of the Neil LaBute that is being directed by Mad Men helmer Jennifer Getzinger.
Brody, whose film work includes In the Land of Women and the upcoming Damsels in Distress from director Whit Stillman, will play a writer who travel cross-country to see ex-girlfriends before he gets married.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that LaBute is writing the script and will produce will produce with Leeden Media. The company’s Patty West, Chris Schwartz and Andrew Carlberg are producing.
Brody also has booked roles in the independent film Welcome to the Jungle and as a porn star opposite Amanda Seyfried in the much-buzzed-about Lovelace. He last appeared in the 2011 Toronto entry The Oranges and has a small role opposite Steve Carell and Keira Knightley in director Lorene Scafaria’s Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which is being distributed by Focus Features.
