Alexander Wang caused a bit of a stir Saturday night when he posted an Instagram video, Beyonce-style, announcing his collaboration with H&M. News of the upcoming collection (akin to the holy grail of shopping moments) was enough to put social media in a tizzy, send text messages flying and blow up email in-boxes with three simple letters: OMG. But as an extra-special treat for lucky Coachella goers, the designer had another trick up his sleeve Saturday night: a secret party tacked on to H&M’s annual desert bash.

Kate Bosworth, Florence Welch, Alexander Skarsgard, Emmy Rossum, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, A$AP Rocky and Liberty Ross were among the cool kid crew who showed up at the Indio Performing Arts Center for the late-night soiree (11 p.m. to 4 a.m., to be exact). And while they (and we!) enjoyed grilled cheese and Twinkies, the real bright spots of the night (besides the promise of $90 Wang dresses courtesy of H&M) were performances by Major Lazer and Iggy Azalea.
“I want everyone to run to the bar and stock up before this next performer,” Wang told the crowd at one point, perfectly playing the part of host with the most. “It’s an open bar and I want to see both hands full!”
