Shawn Mendes hit the American Music Awards stage on Sunday night.
The 19-year-old singer showed off his skills, playing guitar and singing while performing his hit song “There’s Nothing Holdin‘ Me Back” off his second studio album, Illuminate.
Mendes kept the performance simple and made sure to touch the hands of fans in the crowd.
In the crowd, Jamie Foxx, daughter Corinne Foxx, Keith Urban and Lea Michele all danced and sang along.
The AMAs are airing live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on ABC, with Tracee Ellis Ross hosting.
