Amy Adams‘ latest low-cut looks are not going unnoticed. The American Hustle actress will receive the Lacoste Spotlight Award at the Costume Designers Guild Awards, it was announced Wednesday. The gala will take place at The Beverly Hilton on Feb. 22.
The award “honors an actor whose talent and career personifies an enduring commitment to excellence, including a special awareness of the role and importance of costume design,” reads a release. It’s well-earned — the five-time Oscar nominee donned braces in Catch Me If You Can, a princess ball gown in Enchanted, airborne leather in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and skin-tight tanks in The Master before touting deep V-necks in the David O. Russell con comedy.

Michael Wilkinson, Adams’ costume designer for American Hustle, has also received an Academy Award, BAFTA and CDGA nomination for his work on the film.
“The ’70s were such a liberating time for women — we wanted to project her confidence but also [her character] Sydney’s naked vulnerability,” Wilkinson told The Hollywood Reporter of dressing Adams in such exposed tops. “The staying-on is partly due to a generous and carefully placed sprinkle of double-stick tape. … She carried herself in a very specific way to keep us within an R rating. Amy has amazing poise. Let’s just say she studied how to move and never forgot about it.”
Additionally, Adams’ costume designer for Her, Casey Storm, earned his first CDGA film nomination this year.
