Well this is nothing new. Outkast frontman and Indie Spirit nominee Andre Benjamin broke out his favorite pair of vintage railroad conductor overalls on the Independent Spirit Awards carpet on Saturday.

Nominated for best male lead for his work in Jimi: All Is by My Side, Benjamin sported the same pair of workman overalls he wore at last year’s Coachella music festival (and a few times before that, too).
While it’s a little sloppy for an awards show, we can’t say that the look doesn’t make us want to break out our shortalls and go tend to our succulents.
And once the magenta carpet ends, we will.
