When Make Up For Ever announced earlier this year that model Andreja Pejic was a new spokesmodel for the cosmetics brand, it represented a first — not only for the company, but for the industry as a whole. Never before had a transgender model been the face of a beauty brand.
And while a teaser was released last month, the full video campaign, which also stars actress Jamie Chung, is finally here. As expected, it’s gorgeous and totally bold, featuring looks like bright orange lips with a strong smoky eye, as well as a two-toned blue and plum eye.

In the video, as Pejic plays with colorful makeup, the blond Aussie beauty says, “Be unexpected, and be you. I’m the first openly transgender female model to land a cosmetics contract. It means pushing boundaries in a positive way.” We’re already excited to see what’s in store for her next campaign.
