TORONTO – Andy Garcia, Eva Longoria and Forest Whitaker are top-lining the action thriller The Truth from writer/director Damian Lee, now shooting in Ontario, Canada and the Dominican Republic.
The ensemble cast includes Kim Coates, Deborah Kara Unger, Kevin Durand, Devon Bostick, Lara Daans and Steven Bauer.
Garcia plays a former CIA operative-turned-political talk show host who is hired by a corporate whistle blower to expose her company’s cover-up of a South American village massacre.
The Truth comes from Rollercoaster Entertainment and Vortex Words + Pictures, with Gary Howsam and Bill Marks sharing the producer credits.
Jeff Sackman, Garcia and Coates are executive producing.
Writer/director Lee’s recent movie credits include the upcoming Sacrifice, as well as King of Sorrow and Mercy.
