The 2014 Coachella Music and Arts Festival has found two of its headliners.
Arcade Fire and Outkast are set for the Indio, Calif., fest, which takes place on consecutive weekends — April 11 and April 18.
The full lineup, and third headliner, Muse, were announced on Wednesday night.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Outkast’s debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, and there had been rumblings of a Coachella reunion for some time.
When Arcade Fire announced their Reflektor tour in November, some noted the band’s routing neglected shows during Coachella’s announced weekends and had scheduled no dates for L.A., which is roughly two hours away from the festival site.
Other assorted and better-known artists playing this year’s festival include: the Replacements (who reunited earlier this year), Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Pharrell Williams, Lorde, Skrillex, Motorhead, Calvin Harris, Pet Shop Boys, Knife, MGMT, Neutral Milk Holel, Lana Del Rey, Bryan Ferry, Afghan Whigs, Fatboy Slim and Haim, among many others.

British rock band Muse recently released their third live album, Live at Rome Olympic Stadium, which also came out on DVD this past November.
Last year’s Coachella, promoted by Goldenvoice/AEG Live, won Top Festival honors at Billboard’s Touring Awards, grossing more than $67 million dollars over six sold-out nights.
Over the course of its 14-year run, Coachella has hosted numerous memorable artist reunions, from the Pixies in 2004 to Rage Against The Machine in 2007 to Pavement in 2010. Last year’s headliners included the Stone Roses and Blur, who made Coachella’s two weekends their only U.S. dates of their recent reunion runs.
