They join an all-star roster that also will include Fifth Harmony, James Bay, The Chainsmokers with Halsey and Carlos Vives with Shakira, as well as Lady Gaga, Green Day, Bruno Mars, Twenty One Pilots and American Music Award of Merit honoree and performer Sting. The show will be broadcast live on Nov. 20 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET (tape-delayed PT) on ABC.
Drake has a record-setting 13 mentions, leading all nominees with bids for artist of the year, favorite male artist, favorite album, favorite rap artist, favorite rap song and favorite R&B song, among others. If he wins in any of the categories, it will mark his first AMA nod.
