Manager Brantley Brown has joined Authentic Management’s Los Angeles office, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
Brown previously was a partner at Schachter/Brown for 12 years, and she’s bringing her entire client roster, including Diary of a Teenage Girl‘s Bel Powley, Augustus Prew (star of CBS’ upcoming Pure Genius), Sam Palladio (Humans, Nashville), Nick Westrate (AMC’s Turn), Helen George (Call the Midwife), Ruth Kearney (Netflix’s Flaked), Toby Regbo (BBC’s The Last Kingdom), Lenora Crichlow (BBC’s Being Human, Momentum’s upcoming comedy The Late Bloomer) and Luke Pasqualino (star of Crackle’s upcoming Snatch).
Authentic, for many years New York’s largest talent and lit management company, launched its West Coast outpost with former WME agent Sean Elliott three years ago. The firm now has a total of 21 managers between its Brooklyn and Culver City offices, with 11 in the latter representing clients including Brie Larson, James Marsden and Straight Outta Compton‘s Jason Mitchell. The Culver City office will begin construction next month for a physical expansion.
Authentic Management Production currently has more than 10 projects in development, including Showtime’s Teddy Roosevelt limited series, ABC Signature’s Popular and FX’s Happy City (with Dan Harmon and sketch comedy clients Extremely Decent)., while manager Anne Woodward will executive produce Larson’s directorial debut, Unicorn Store.
