
The Sherlock star has recently achieved A-list status with The Imitation Game and his forthcoming Doctor Strange. He has also had plenty of chances to show off his comedic chops along the Oscar campaign trail of late.

The BAFTA Awards, the 68th annual film awards organized by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, will be handed out Sunday evening in London in front of a star-studded crowd.
The awards ceremony will take place at the British capital’s Royal Opera House, starting at 6:45 p.m. London time (10:45 a.m. L.A. time). First winners are expected to be announced around 7 p.m. U.K. time (11 a.m. in L.A.).

Stephen Fry will host the ceremony, marking his 10th time as presenter of the British version of the Oscars.
Among the presenters scheduled to take to the stage are John Boyega, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, Natalie Dormer, Chris Evans, Martin Freeman, Cuba Gooding Jr., Tom Hiddleston, Kristin Scott Thomas, Patricia Arquette and soccer star David Beckham. Also set to attend are such nominees as Felicity Jones, Keira Knightley, Rosamund Pike, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne and Ralph Fiennes.

Among the Hollywood nominees expected to attend are Julianne Moore, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Michael Keaton and Steve Carell. Also expected are Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo.
Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel led the BAFTA nominations with 11. Last year, Gravity won six honors from 11 nominations, while 12 Years a Slave earned 10 nominations and won two awards, including best film.
