For an anonymous street artist, Banksy is all over the place. First, he took over the walls and streets of the U.K., and then the U.S. Then, he made his mark on film with the Oscar-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. And recently, he found time to make his mark on Rupert Murdoch’s phone-hacking scandal.
On Saturday, Banksy took over another medium with an hour-long TV show. Antics Roadshow – yes, that is a play on the popular show Antiques Roadshow – airs on Britain’s Channel 4 on Saturday. The special showcases infamous pranksters and other acts of anarchy.
“Basically I just thought it was a good name for a TV programme and I’ve been working back from there,” Banksy said of the show’s title on a statement on Channel 4’s website.

Narrated by Kathy Burke, the show will have the first interview with the man who put a grass mohawk on Winston Churchill’s head. Also, another infamous prankster, Michael Fagan, who once broke into the Queen’s bedroom, and Noel Godin, who pioneered attacking celebrities with custard pies will both be featured in the special.
While there are no current announced plans to bring the special to the U.S., Banksy’s popularity in the U.S., especially after the release of his documentary, would probably make people tune into the special if it was to air.
