Jennifer Lopez may be People’s most beautiful woman, but Maxim readers had a different face in mind for the magazine’s annual Hot 100 ranking.
Israeli model — and former girlfriend to Leonardo DiCaprio — Bar Refaeli has been named the world’s most beautiful woman by the men’s mag. The 26-year-old beauty tops last years reigning queen, Transformers 3 actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, for the honor. “I am shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I’m number one,” Refaeli said. “Thank you so much for voting for me! I’m truly honored. This is the title I will never forget.”

Refaeli dons a red Baywatch-esque swimsuit in one shot for the mag, while going nude in another for a black-and-white spread.
The newly released ranking is the product of fan voting, marking the first time in the history of the magazine that readers were put in charge of the self-described “definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women.” The result of a “massive write-in campaign,” Comedy Central pundit Stephen Colbert landed the No. 69 position on the list, making him the first male member of the Hot 100 club.
Rounding out the top five are Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Katy Perry and Olivia Wilde. Other notable mentions this year include Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, Kate Upton, Zooey Deschanel, Katharine McPhee, Amanda Bynes, Pippa Middleton and the recently exonerated Amanda Knox, who was named No. 92 on the list. Even Family Guy cartoon character Lois Griffin secured the No. 85 spot.
