Emmys: Anna Paquin, Melissa McBride and 30 of TV’s Supporting Acting Stars Sit for Epic Class Photo

Yeah yeah, someone else is always the prom king or queen, or top of the class. But these 30 stars, gathered together on April 15 in L.A., comprise this year's Emmy supporting actor contenders, second to none and most likely to succeed.

Getting 30 of TV’s hardest-working actors in a room for three hours was no small or easy feat. But when they all descended on Milk Studios in Hollywood on a Friday in April — some literally just having flown in from London, New York, Portland and other far-off sets — they all proceeded to geek over on each other. Sterling K. Brown, who played Christopher Darden in The People v. O.J. Simpson, received a politician’s share of handshakes and requests for selfies. Daredevil‘s Jon Bernthal and his dog Boss shared swoon-worthy public displays of affection. Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story: Hotel), Zoe Lister-Jones (Confirmation, Life in Pieces) and Joel Kinnaman (House of Cards) performed a dramatic reading of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince’s 1991 hit “Summertime.” And Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Vincent Rodriguez III danced for a THR Snapchat. By the end of the three-hour shoot, numbers were exchanged, friendships formed. The Supporting Actor Class of 2016 was one for the books.
