The Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that it is investigating complaints it has received on film mogul Harvey Weinstein and director James Toback.
“These cases are under investigation and no further information will be released at this time,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
Weinstein, who was ousted from his production company following damning reports from The New York Times and The New Yorker, is also currently under investigation by the LAPD and NYPD. Over 60 women accusers have alleged Weinstein sexual harassed or assaulted them in the past. Toback, meanwhile, has had hundreds of accusers come forward to lay claims of sexual harassment and assault against him.
