Bill Murray will Rock the Kasbah in Marrakech, where he will receive a career tribute at the international film festival in the Moroccan capital.
Murray will be honored the opening night of the festival, Dec. 4., and Kasbah will be the opening film, screening out of competition.
The Oscar-nominee will be accompanied by Kasbah writer Mitch Glazer and producer Steve Bing.
Willem Dafoe will join Murray among the honorees at a separate ceremony Dec. 11.
As previously announced, Francis Ford Coppola is head of the jury this year, alongside directors Anton Corbjin, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Naomi Kawase and Thomas Vinterberg. Former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko will also be on the panel.
Legendary director Abbas Kiarostami, Cannes jury prize director Park-Chan Wook and Cannes best screenplay winner Fatih Akin will be giving master classes during the festival.
The festival will also pay homage to Canadian cinema.
The festival will run Dec. 4-Dec. 13 in Marrakech.
