Bill O’Reilly Excoriates Quentin Tarantino for Anti-Cop “Lies”

Quentin Tarantino’s involvement with Black Lives Matter, a movement criticized by conservatives for being anti-police, has earned him an influential new enemy: Bill O’Reilly. 

On his show Monday, the host of The O’Reilly Factor showed video of the film director speaking at a rally, then informed his audience that Tarantino is a big liar.

The segment was, in fact, about “big lies,” and O’Reilly used the killing of NYPD officer Randolph Holder as an example. Holder, said O’Reilly, was “shot dead by a long-time drug dealer [Tyrone Howard] that a judge refused to incarcerate.” Howard remained free after 28 arrests.

“Less than a week after Officer Holder was killed — less than a week, and before his funeral even took place, Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino traveled to New York City to condemn American police officers,” O’Reilly said before rolling video.

Tarantino was at a podium at a Black Lives Matter rally repeating the name of “Michael Brown Jr.,” whom Tarantino described as an 18-year-old black teenager in Ferguson, Missouri who “was stopped and harassed” by Officer Darren Wilson. Wilson eventually shot him six times.

“Tarantino reading from a script,” O’Reilly noted when the video stopped. “As you may remember, a grand jury saw this case completely differently. They exonerated Officer Wilson.”

O’Reilly added: “But to Tarantino, who lives in a world of his own, facts don’t matter, and he has no problem, Tarantino, with spreading big lies.”

Fox News has repeatedly condemned Black Lives Matters, playing video of supporters who chant things like, “What do we want? Dead cops,” and, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.”
