Bill O’Reilly appeared on The Tonight Show on Wednesday to mock the Republicans presidential candidates for their extensive demands to TV networks for future debates — and to make some demands of his own.
After widespread criticism of the moderators’ performance on the most recent CNBC debate, the RNC recently attempted to present a united front to the networks in a joint letter that outlined candidates’ demands for future debates.
But the effort to come together on the specific conditions for future debates has now mostly devolved, with individual candidates proposing their own preferred moderators and Donald Trump announcing that he would submit his own terms directly to the networks.
“We gotta wise these people up,” O’Reilly declared. “So here’s my first demand: Stop Complaining. … You’re acting like a bunch of Democrats.”
“Here’s the next demand: Answer the question. It’s not that hard.”
