Buckle in, because the Billboard Music Awards is steaming ahead. Billboard and Dick Clark Productions today announced a lineup of presenters from across music, TV and film for the annual awards ceremony later this month.
Among the presenters this time will be hip-hop legend and 10-time Billboard Music Award winner 50 Cent, pop superstar and six-time Billboard Music Award winner Celine Dion, Billboard Music Award-winning R&B singer Ne-Yo, and Rita Ora, a finalist this year.
Also joining the lineup will be actors Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson from ABC’s The Bachelorette, award-winner Laverne Cox from Orange Is the New Black, the cast of Entourage (Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier), the multitalented Taraji P. Henson, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Ellen Pompeo and Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev.
They’ll join a top-notch cast that includes previously confirmed performers Mariah Carey, Van Halen, Kelly Clarkson, Hozier, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. The night will also feature special duet performances by Empire recording artists Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray with Estelle, Fall Out Boy featuring Wiz Khalifa, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea, and Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend.
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards return to ABC on Sunday, May 17, at 8 p.m. ET and will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Ludacris will co-host with supermodel (and Legend’s wife) Chrissy Teigen. Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Barry Adelman and Robert Deaton are executive producers.
