NEW YORK — Tony Award winners Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley will complete the casts of the upcoming Broadway repertory stagings of Harold Pinter‘s No Man’s Land and Samuel Beckett‘s Waiting for Godot.

They join previously announced leads Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in the two plays, which begin performances Oct. 26 at the Cort Theatre. The 14-week limited season officially opens Nov. 24.

Directed by Sean Mathias, Waiting for Godot was first staged in a sellout London run with McKellen and Stewart in 2009. No Man’s Land will play a pre-Broadway engagement at Berkeley Rep Aug. 3-31.

Crudup last appeared on Broadway in a 2011 revival of Tom Stoppard‘s Arcadia. His other notable Great White Way credits include Stoppard’s The Coast of Utopia, Martin McDonagh‘s The Pillowman and Bernard Pomerance‘s The Elephant Man, also directed by Mathias. He won a Tony for best featured actor in a play in 2007 for The Coast of Utopia.

Hensley this past weekend won outstanding lead actor at the Lucille Lortel Awards, the top Off Broadway honors, for his role in Samuel D. Hunter‘s play The Whale.

The Pinter/Beckett double-bill will mark Hensley’s first non-musical role on Broadway. He previously appeared in Les Miserables, Tarzan, Young Frankenstein and Oklahoma!, for which he won a Tony as best featured actor in a musical in 2002.

Stuart Thompson and NOMANGO Productions are presenting the repertory engagement, an unconventional endeavor for Broadway. The performance schedule for the two plays will be announced shortly.
