As images out of Boston reveal a city besieged by terror and carnage following the detonation of two bombs near the Boston Marathon finish line Monday, celebrities have poured forth on Twitter with expressions of grief, shock and support.
Justin Timberlake writes, “My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the city of Boston and all of those affected by this terrible incident,” while fellow musician Alicia Keys tweets that she was “shaken” by the news.
Actress Zoe Saldana offers “prayers and thoughts” to the victims, adding, “Que Dios los tenga en su gloria,” Spanish for, “May God rest his soul.”
