The move signals how strongly Warners believes in Cooper, who starred in the two uber-successful Hangover movies for the studio and will return for a third installment.

Cooper also has proved his starpower outside the Hangover franchise with the surprise hit Limitless, a 2011 thriller from Relativity.
“We’re very happy to take our relationship with Bradley to the next level,” said Warners chief Jeff Robinov in a statement. “He’s a proven, multi-talented star, and we expect this deal to see him emerge in a whole new light as a creative force.”

Sheroum Kim, who acted as an assistant to Warners’ production president Greg Silverman, has been hired as a development executive for Cooper’s company.
Cooper, repped by CAA, becomes the only actor from the Hangover movies to ink a first-look deal with the studio. 22 & Indiana will be housed on Warners’ Burbank lot. The name of the shingle comes from his father’s address, where the actor-now-producer grew up.
Cooperis in now in pre-production on Serena, in which he’ll star with Jennifer Lawrence. He has at least two movies set for release this year, including The Silver Linings Playbook, David O. Russell‘s follow-up to The Fighter.
