Armani will host an exclusive private concert — Emporio Armani Sounds — featuring rocker Brandon Flowers (of The Killers fame) with a DJ set by Mark Ronson on Feb. 11 at chic events space Neuehouse in Hollywood. Emporio Armani Sounds is the collaboration connecting Emporio Armani to music. The initiative has come alive with a series of concerts in major cities across the globe featuring such acts as Roisin Murphy, Klaxons, La Roux, Lion Babe and Charli XCX. But about that store: The new Emporio Armani boutique, located at 338 N. Rodeo Dr., consists of 5,900 square feet over two floors connected by a staircase of stone and stainless steel. Said to blend craftsmanship and modernity, the store design complements the aesthetic of Emporio Armani’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections for women and men, while paying respect to the Armani aesthetic. Think: fabrics in gray tones, metallic black profiles and silk rugs. The main exterior features fully transparent glass that contains metallic blades while the ceilings of the exterior facade are in marmorino.
The store, which is now open, is in well-dressed company. Giorgio Armani is located at 436 N. Rodeo Dr.
