Brie Larson is officially the breakout beauty star of awards season, and at the SAG Awards on Saturday night, she had the look to prove it.
Wearing a powder-blue Versace gown with an orange strap detail in the back, the actress gave us a lesson in how to pull off a vibrant lipstick, courtesy of makeup artist Rachel Goodwin. “I decided to go with a really vivid lip as the focus of the look,” says the red-carpet pro. “Her makeup was definitely glamorous, but with a modern, energetic quality.”

Using Chanel Precision Lip Definer in Orange Intense ($29), Goodwin filled in the star’s lips, then applied a swipe of Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine in Article ($37). “It has an incredibly beautiful luster,” says the makeup artist.
