The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles announced Tuesday that the Britannia Awards are set to take place Oct. 27 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
“After an overwhelmingly successful ceremony in 2016, we are looking forward to once again celebrating those among us who not only define excellence, but inspire others to do the same,” said Chantal Rickards, CEO of BAFTA Los Angeles.
The Britannia Awards are BAFTA Los Angeles’ highest accolades, and seek to honor both British and international talent. The 2016 edition saw honorees like Ang Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Ricky Gervais, Ewan McGregor, Felicity Jones and Jodie Foster.
The organization’s other key events include the BAFTA Tea Party in January and the EE British Academy Film Awards in London. The latter event is scheduled for Feb. 18, 2018.
