Ever-diversifying, CAA has launched a full-service hospitality division, CAA Premium Experience, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The move comes as the agency acquires two leading companies in the space, Goviva and Beyond Sports & Entertainment. Those acquisitions join Inside Sports & Entertainment Group, which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of CAA Sports in February 2014.
CAA Premium Experience will offer full-service hospitality, event management and marketing services to its corporate clients. Launching with a staff of more than 50 employees, it will obviously leverage the agency’s broad sports and entertainment resources and relationships, and aims to work with Fortune 500 companies on hundreds of global events per year.
“The Goviva, Beyond Sports & Entertainment and Inside Sports & Entertainment Group collective makes CAA Premium Experience the industry leader in the customer hospitality business,” said CAA Sports co-head Michael Levine, who will lead the new practice alongside CAA Sports co-head Howard Nuchow. “We have strategically combined the creativity, innovation and exceptional client service of the world’s most accomplished corporate hospitality executives and organizations with CAA’s unmatched resources and relationships within entertainment, sports and pop culture to create a division that will deliver world-class VIP experiences for customers globally.”
The New York City-based Goviva was founded in 2011 by Will Steinberg, Brett Sklar and Robert Tuchman. The latter previously founded a full-service experiential company, TSE Sports & Entertainment, which he sold to private equity firm Pfingsten Partners in 2006. Meanwhile, BSE was founded in 2007 by Ari Strulson, Kyle Olson and Jason Marshall.
