TORONTO – Canada’s Comedy Network has acquired the IFC comedy block Comedy Bang! Bang!, the podcast-turned-sketch comedy show, and the game show spoof Bunk.
The deal with distributor Tricon Films & Television sees the Canadian cable channel acquire 30 half-hours of Comedy Bang! Bang! and 10 half-hours of Bunk.

Comedy Bang! Bang! is hosted by Scott Aukerman (Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis) and features celebrity guests such as Seth Rogen, Amy Poehler and Zach Galifianakis as they face unfiltered and improvisational questioning.
Bunk has comedians compete in inane challenges to win surreal prizes. The scripted series was created by Ethan T. Berlin and Eric Bryant and is hosted by comic Kurt Braunohler.
The Comedy Network, a division of Bell Media, will air the IFC comedy block starting midnight July 26.
