Calling all costume designers: If you’ve ever wanted to get your designs on the big screen, here’s your chance. Luc Besson’s upcoming thriller, Valerian — starring Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan — is now accepting sketches through Nov. 27.

The legendary French director as well as costume designer Olivier Beriot have partnered with Yahoo Style to find new designs for the film. Particularly, they’re seeking out-of-this-world ensembles to be worn by 20 party guests at a space station soiree hosted in the year 2580. The Alpha station is home to over 8,000 different species, so anything goes (as long as there’s still room for arms, legs and head, of course).

Says Besson, “My hope is that by offering a contest like this to artists worldwide, we will gain access to inspired and original creations from a plethora of fresh perspectives, and the film will benefit from this collaboration.”
Delevingne, who plays heroine Laureline in the film, revealed a little inspiration via Instagram of her character’s comic look, saying, “I cannot wait to play this chick #Laureline @lucbesson #Valerian #watchthisspace.”
Winners, chosen by Yahoo Style editor Joe Zee, will be announced on Dec. 14. In addition to seeing their costumes on the big screen when the movie premieres in 2017, they will also receive a $1,000 cash prize. Good luck!
