Cara Delevingne took part in a recent morning show interview but may have wanted to disappear by the end of it, much like her character does in the film Paper Towns.
Delevingne appeared on Good Morning Sacramento to promote the film, and things got off to a bumpy start when she was asked if she had read the John Green book on which it is based.
“No, I never read the book, or the script actually,” the 22-year-old actress quipped. “I kind of winged it.”
When one of the co-hosts asked whether it’s easier for her to focus when she has a busy schedule, she replied, “No, I don’t know where that comes from.”
Finally, one of the anchors asked if she was “a bit irritated” or if it’s just them. “No, I think it’s just you,” Delevingne said.
people with [her] bare hands.””]
One anchor then said they should let her go, with another adding, “We’ll let you go take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull. How about that?”
When Delevingne left the screen, the anchors continued to criticize her attitude. “She was in a mood!” one said.
On Wednesday the actress responded to criticism about the interview. “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” she tweeted.
