Carrie Fisher will have the honor of presenting the 51st SAG Life Achievement Award to her mother, Debbie Reynolds, at the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 25 at the Shrine Auditorium.
Widely recognized for her role as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars, Fisher will award her mother with the 2014 Life Achievement Award for the veteran actress’ 60-plus-year career and humanitarian accomplishments.

Reynolds has starred in more than 50 motion pictures, two Broadway shows and two television series and is notably remembered for playing Kathy Selden in the 1952 musical Singin’ in the Rain.
The live show will air on Jan. 25 on TNT and TBS at 5 p.m. PT.
