Hollywood is taking part in the Mannequin Challenge.
Saturday Night Live tried out the challenge to promote Kristen Wiig’s hosting gig on Nov. 19.
The cast and crew of Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time creatively used the online trend to announce the Ava DuVernay film’s release date.
Paul McCartney, Adele, Kevin Hart and Steph Curry have also debuted their version of the latest social media craze, which consists of taking a video while freezing in an odd or dramatic action.
Hailee Steinfeld and the Edge of Seventeen cast set theirs at the film’s premiere, Ellen DeGeneres filmed hers at the office and the Dancing With the Stars crew made theirs on set.
Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also reunited for a Destiny’s Child version, while the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills shared their team versions.
Earlier this week, Hillary Clinton participated alongside her campaign team and special guest Jon Bon Jovi, who joined her at a rally in Philadelphia on Monday. The viral trend was repurposed as a voting PSA, as the video was captioned: “Don’t stand still. Vote today.”
The trend began with a group of high schoolers, and is usually set to “Black Beatles” by Rae Sremmurd.
