Emmy Rossum also went heavier on her eye makeup, which was a perfect choice with her sleek center-parted hair and sexy black cutout dress with sheer lace sleeves.

Vanessa Hudgens rocked a similar look with her sheer-topped slate gown, making her eyes pop. Blonde Salad’s Chiara Ferragni wore her fringed Rebecca Minkoff gown with wavy locks and a slightly smoked-out eye. And Michelle Monaghan and her date Monique Lhuillier went for a subtle take on the trend, focusing on lots of lash and natural rosy pink lips that stunned on the red carpet.
