For the second time, Chanel will open the doors of a pre-Oscars, beauty-centric experiential pop-up in L.A. with select access exclusively available to THR readers today — 24 hours prior to event sign-up opening to the general public — so act fast.
In 2016, the iconic French fashion house took over Bar Marmont at the Chateau Marmont for a three-day “I Love Coco” event described as a “backstage beauty lounge” complete with a band set up on stage dedicated to selfies, temp tattoos, Coco concert pins, a lineup of new products for sale, mini manis and more.

This year, the Chanel beauty extravaganza will touch down at the 1936 Art Deco home turned private event space The House on Sunset at 9169 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. And the focus of Chanel Beauty House is the kisser, with a wide array of lip products (in every shade, texture and finish imaginable) available on-site to experiment with and purchase. Members of Chanel’s makeup artist team will also be on hand for expert consultations and pro applications.
“Guests will have the opportunity to play with color and unleash their creativity in this interactive beauty space,” according to the brand. “A rebel at heart, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel defied convention and broke the rules. Her audacious vision and daring spirit reinvented the world of fashion, beauty and style. Declare your individuality and celebrate the spirit of Coco, the relentless, invincible and eternal rebel.”
Following a celebrity-studded private opening party, the experiential pop-up will run from Thursday, March 1, through Sunday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, free of charge for those who reserve a space. Click here to pre-reserve your limited spot on the THR early-access list. Visitors will be admitted on a first-come basis.
Just in time for the party, a U.S. @welovecoco Instagram page — dedicated to user-generated content created by fans, influencers and makeup artists and an offshoot of the global @chanel.beauty page that launched last month — debuts today.
