The loose-lipped Kaiser of fashion is at it again.
Karl Lagerfeld is known for his outrageous and outlandish quotes – he does not hold back. And he’s so rich and famous, he doesn’t appear to need to. He famously once said, “No one wants to see curvy women.” Of course, Lagerfeld reversed the idea when he cast plus-sized models in shoots and hired The Gossip‘s heavyweight Beth Ditto to headline a Fendi party.

This time his target it multi-nominated Grammy nominee, British singer Adele. He told Metrotoday in an interview recently: “The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.”
Now watch the man who changes his mind more than his clothes have her sing at a Chanel party – or dress her in Chanel for her next outing. Or even walk his runway.
Other outlandish quotes in the new Lagerfeld interview:

“Nobody wants Greece to disappear, but they have really disgusting habits – Italy as well.”
“If I was a woman in Russia, I’d be a lesbian, as the men are very ugly.”
“People in magazines are 50% bimbo and 50% pregnant women.”
You’ve got to love the Kaiser. Although, right now, Adele probably doesn’t. But what does she care? Designer Barbara Tfank has designed multiple gorgeous outfits for her in the past, and no doubt, the near future.
