Channing Tatum knows how to keep his dance routines fresh.

The Magic Mike XXL actor went “undercover” as Scott, “the most terrifying marketing exec ever,” and surprised fans at a test screening of the highly anticipated sequel.

The prank was part of Tatum’s charity campaign with Omaze, which will let one lucky fan join him at the upcoming L.A. premiere, complete with a day of pampering and a stay at a top hotel. Each $10 entry benefits the Runa Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to protect tropical forests for the benefit of local people.

“Why wouldn’t you want to just change it up every once in a while and get a different flavor?” he said of the prank, according to Yahoo. “I really enjoy that stuff. I’d go around in a costume every day if I could, for no other reason other than all bets are off. You don’t have to be responsible, and you can do whatever you like, especially as an older person. No one ever says anything if you’re slightly older and saying weird stuff to people.”
