Warner Bros.Irish actor David Kelly, who appeared opposite Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, has died.

The Dublin-born actor last appeared on screen in Matthew Vaughns’ 2007 film Stardust, in which he played an elderly guard tasked with preventing people from walking past a wall into a magical realm. Robert De Niro, Claire Danes and Ian McKellen also starred.
