Charlie Sheen says he doesn’t know why his longtime spokesperson Stan Rosenfield abruptly quit Monday.
“He didn’t even call me,” Sheen told Howard Stern Tuesday morning. “He quit with a text.”
Rosenfield — the head of Stan Rosenfield & Associates who handles clients such as George Clooney and Helen Mirren — worked with the actor, 45, for more than a decade through many trying public scandals, including a publicly-played out divorce with Denise Richards and charges of domestic violence against ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

Sheen’s TMZ interview Monday drew the line for Rosenfield. (At one point, Sheen was asked why at the time of his Plaza Hotel incident last year, Rosenfield blamed Sheen’s hospitalization on mixed medication. Sheen said he personally would’ve come up with “something better.”)
Asked about Rosenfield’s departure, Sheen said, “His feelings are coming from his ego and from his emotions, and I don’t have time for either one right now because we’re fighting a war.”
