Charlize Theron Stuns in Statement Diamond Necklace at the Oscars

Charlize Theron has been noticeably absent on major red carpets this season, with the exception of making a splash in a yellow Dior gown in May during the Cannes Film Festival.

The Oscar winner, it seems, was just waiting to make a statement at the Oscars, as she didn’t disappoint when she stepped out in a sexy Dior number on Sunday evening. Beyond the jaw-dropping gown and chic beauty look, all eyes were on the Harry Winston Secret Cluster diamond necklace (48.8 carats), set in platinum, perfectly positioned in the plunging neckline of her dress.

Though the necklace was the boldest of her baubles, she also added diamond cluster earrings (15.49 carats) and an 8 carat cushion-cut diamond ring, among other diamond pieces. All together the South African beauty was sporting $3.7 million worth of Harry Winston Diamonds.
