Chris Martin is making extra sure he makes it to San Francisco in time for Sunday’s Super Bowl after convincing The Late Late Show host James Corden to give him a lift in the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke.
During the supposedly 400-plus-mile journey, Martin and Corden, both painfully English, reveal that they don’t know all that much about “American football.”

Interspersed with the knockabout banter, Martin and Corden ran through some Coldplay hits including “Yellow,” “Clocks” and “Adventure Of A Lifetime,” as well as a rendition of David Bowie’s “Heroes.”
Coldplay, with special guests Beyonce and Bruno Mars, are set to perform the Super Bowl 50 halftime show this Sunday, live on CBS.
