Chris Pratt had some lovely words to fill in the blanks for Jimmy Fallon’s “Mad Lib Theater” game on Tuesday.
He chose “ding dongs,” “doinker,” “gerbils” and “spanking” as his words before The Tonight Show team put them into a Christmas-themed script for Pratt and Fallon to act out.
The result was Pratt as Santa Claus and Fallon as an elf, whom Santa accuses of stealing a missing toy — a doinker — in the holiday scene. “I would never steal such a demure toy,” responds Fallon’s elf. On the night in question he said he was with his pet Pickles, listening to the Roots holiday album and making snow gerbils.
“Then why did Rudolph see you spanking on the roof?” asks Santa Pratt, as Fallon’s elf laughs hysterically.
“The reason I work so hard is because I get to spread joy to millions of people, and go sit by the fire shaking my nad,” said Pratt with a smirk. He sang “Jingleforks” to close out the sketch and Fallon the elf revealed that he had stolen the toy to impress his pediatrician.
