The Parks and Recreation actor is in talks to star opposite Vince Vaughn as an attorney in the remake of the 2011 French-Canadian comedy.

Film centers on a middle-aged man (Vaughn) whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation. When a few hundred of the children express an irrepressible need to meet their father, he must decide whether to step up and reveal his identity.
Pratt will play a single father of four and lawyer who helps Vaughn’s character with his case. The role is one of the film’s three leads.
Ken Scott, who wrote and directed the original, is writing the script for the English-language studio adaptation and will direct. Original producer Andre Rouleau also is back.

Pratt’s recent credits include The Five-Year Engagement, What’s Your Number? and Moneyball. He plays Andy Dwyer on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, which kicks off its fifth season in the fall.
