Cinema Audio Society Sets Dates For 2016 Awards

The annual awards for sound mixing in features and TV will be held Feb. 20.

The Cinema Audio Society has set its awards season timeline for the 52nd annual CAS Awards for sound mixing in features and TV as well as technical achievement in sound production and postproduction.

The Awards ceremony will be held Feb. 20 in the Crystal Ballroom of The Millennium Biltmore Hotel.

The entry and voting timeline for the event is as follows:

Oct. 12 — Entry submission forms will be available online

Nov. 13 — Deadline for submissions (11:59 pm PST)

Dec. 21 — Nomination ballot voting begins

Jan. 4 — Nomination ballot voting ends (11:59 pm PDT)

Jan. 12 — Nominations announced

Jan. 27 — Final voting begins

Feb. 12 –Final voting ends (11:59 pm PST)

Feb. 20 — 52nd CAS Awards ceremony
