Comcast, Turner Reach VOD Deal for Original Series

Comcast and Turner Broadcasting System have reached a deal to make complete current and previous seasons of shows from TBS, TNT, CNN and other networks available to cable subscribers via Xfinity’s On Demand service.

Beginning this summer, full current seasons of original series that air on TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, CNN and TruTV will be available on demand. New episodes will become available the day after they premiere and will remain up for the duration of the current season.

Some of the shows that will be made available include TNT’s Falling Skies and Murder in the First, TBS’ Deal With It and CeeLo Green’s The Good Life, Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, CNN’s Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown and TruTV’s Impractical Jokers.

Turner networks will now also insert dynamic ads in Xfinity On Demand programming.
