Who says Steve Jobs is the only computer genius fit for a biopic?
Conan O’Brien debuted a trailer for a spoof on the upcoming Michael Fassbender starrer on Wednesday’s episode of Conan, zooming in on Michael Dell.
The trailer pokes fun at Dell’s logo and company history and presents updates (or lack thereof) at an Apple-like product-launch event: “Hi, nothing new to report at Dell. We haven’t made any new computers yet. So, uhh, we’ll just keep selling the old ones for now.”
“Don’t think ‘different,’ think ‘same,’ ” says Tom Virtue as Dell, in contrast to Apple’s memorable slogan. “And guys, we gotta make these laptops really thick, with the fans in the back.”
