Confirmed: ‘Jersey Shore’s’ Snooki Shows Off Engagement Ring for Paparazzi (Poll)

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jionni LaValle are engaged, and the ring captured by photographers Monday is indeed her engagement ring, sources close to the Jersey Shore star confirm to The Hollywood Reporter.

Days after reports surfaced that the star is pregnant and just hours after initial reports that the couple had been engaged, paparazzi captured the 24-year-old strolling in Jersey City, where she and Jersey Shore castmate Jenni “JWoww” Farley are shooting their spinoff series.

Snooki has denied the pregnancy reports in the media. But as far as the prospect of marrying LaValle, she has been more open about that possibility during appearances and interviews.

“I know he’s the one, so I know the ring’s gonna come soon,” she previously told People in mid-January. Well, that time is has arrived.

Fans of the MTV reality series are well acquainted with LaValle, who makes frequent appearances on the show. The couple began dating in October 2010.

MTV did not immediately respond to our request for a statement. A spokesperson for Polizzi tells THR that she has no comment.

When the reports surfaced last week that Polizzi was pregnant, MTV told THR that shooting of her spinoff with JWoww was “going great so far.”
