As Bell Media’s 19-2 debuts on Bravo, Content Television has snapped up the international distribution rights to the English-language remake of the French-Canadian cop drama.
Content will shop the Canadian drama from Sphere Media Plus and Echo Media across all platforms.
19-2 debuts on Bravo Wednesday night, with CTV premiering the series about Montreal patrol officers played by Vancouver-based actors Jared Keeso and Adrian Holmes the next day.
“The launch of this new English-language version on Bravo is already generating huge buzz, and we’re looking forward to expanding its success to the international stage,” said Greg Phillips, president of Content Television & Digital, in a statement.
The 10-part drama sees the two cops put their differences aside as their lives intertwine both professionally and personally.
19-2 is adapted from the original Quebec-based drama on Societe Radio-Canada.
