Dana Pirkle-Hayberg has joined CAA as an agent in the digital media department.
In the new role, Hayberg will work with the agency’s gaming talent on partnerships and brand opportunities.
“As we continue to expand our efforts and show our dominance in growing gaming talent, we couldn’t be more thrilled to add Dana to our team,” said David Freeman and Frank Jung, co-heads of digital media at CAA. “With Dana’s passion and broad experience in the gaming industry, we look forward to seeing the new opportunities she helps create for our strong roster of gaming clients.”
“I have been super impressed with CAA’s investments and rapid growth in building the careers of many of today’s top gaming influencer talent,” added Hayberg. “I’m excited to tap into CAA’s collaborative culture to continue the great work.”
Hayberg was previously vp of talent management at entertainment agency 3BLACKDOT, where she worked with talent such as Canadian gaming personality Evan “Vanoss” Fong and YouTuber Brian “Terroriser” Hanby. She also worked on an esports series with Sony PlayStation’s Competition Center and assembled talent for various unscripted projects.
Prior to that, Hayberg worked with esports organization Major League Gaming, Blizzard Entertainment, Machinima and AwesomenessTV.
CAA’s roster of gaming personalities include Dr. Disrespect, YouTube group The Krew, esports host James “Dash” Patterson and comedy brand Game Grumps.
