Dave Navarro has signed with UTA in all areas, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard have exclusively learned.
The guitarist co-founded Jane’s Addiction 30 years ago and continues to tour with the band, as well as with supergroup Royal Machines, alongside Mark McGrath, Billy Morrison, Donovan Leitch, Chris Chaney and Josh Freese. Navarro also served as lead guitarist for Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1993 to 1998.
One of the most recognizable rockers in pop culture, Navarro hosts Spike TV’s Ink Master, now in its eighth season, and spinoff Ink Master: Redemption. He also co-hosts the call-in talk show Dark Matter on digital platform Dash Radio.
Last year, Navarro produced the documentary Mourning Son, about his mother’s 1983 murder by an ex-boyfriend. The film, which was directed by the rocker’s producing partner, Todd Newman, has led to Navarro being named the first male honoree of Inspire a Difference, the domestic violence and victims’ rights awareness campaign launched by Glamour and Investigation Discovery in 2013.
Following a guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU, Navarro played a Biz Lats gang member on multiple episodes of FX’s Sons of Anarchy. In 2004 he published his memoir Don’t Try This At Home, co-written with rock journalist and The Game author Neil Strauss.
